Instant Amla Achar (gooseberry pickle)

You must include inexpensive superfood Amla in your daily diet, especially in winter…it improves your immunity. Goodness of vitamin C is most important for children and adults.. good for your skin and hair..good for your ❤️ heart.. consume Amla with Jaggery..so, made instant Amla pickle.

☘️ Instant Amla Achar

☘️ Ingredients

250 gm Amla (Gooseberry)

2 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

Salt to taste

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon jeera (cumin seeds)

1/2 teaspoon ajwain ( carom seeds)

1/2 cup crushed Jaggery

3 tablespoon kachhi ghani mustard oil or any oil

☘️Method

☘️Take a pan. Boil water and add sugar in it. Add Amla in it. Boil them for 10 min.

☘️ strain and cool Amla. Then cut them into small pieces..

☘️ Discard seeds from all the Boiled amla. Make sure Amla is completely dried that is no water is left in amla pieces.

☘️ Heat 3 tablespoon of kachhi ghani mustard oil in a pan. Add Jeera, while it crackle..add Amla into it. And saute them for few min.

☘️ Add Chili powder, Turmeric powder, carom seeds and salt to taste. ( You can add more red chilli powder , if you like spicy pickle..you can add garam masala also..)

☘️ Mix well and cook for 3 min.

☘️ Add crushed Jaggery. Mix well. Cook for 3 min. When it melts, remove from the flame. Keep it cool.

☘️ Cool it completely..store them in air tight glass container. Store in a refrigerator..

Serve this pickle with hot roti subji or with rice dal or with khichdi kadhi or on 🍞 bread slice.
