Hariyali banana thepla
Ingredients:-
2 cup washed and finely chopped green leafy veg (coriander, methi & palak)
2 ripe bananas mashed
1 tbsp red chili powder
½ tsp haldi powder
½ tsp jeera
½ tsp hing
1/2 tsp sesame seeds (til)
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Wheat flour as per requirement
Oil for roasting thepla
Wheat flour for rolling
For serving:-

Method:-
Take a mixing bowl. Add 2 mashed bananas. Now add red chili powder, haldi powder, salt, hing, jeera,sesame seeds and 1 tbsp oil. Add all the chopped leafy vegetables in it. Mix them properly with the help of a hand.
Now, add wheat flour as per requirement and prepare it like a roti dough. Don’t use water or milk so that you can preserve thepla for a long time.
Knead the dough very well. Add ½ tsp more oil if required while kneading.
Make medium sized balls from the dough. Take a medium sized ball and sprinkle some flour on it. Roll the thepla to a round shape. On a hot tawa place the thepla. Flip when one side is partly cooked. Spread oil on this side. Flip the thepla again. Now spread the oil on this side. Cooked them till you get golden spots.
You can carry this thepla while traveling. It can be served as a healthy breakfast and most appropriate for the kids tiffin.
Serve with lemon pickle or tomato ketchup.
Hi….. if we don’t use milk or water how will I able to bind the dough? The dough will fall apart isn’t it???

We are using mashed bananas..so..no need of water or milk..the dough will bind with the help of banana pulp..
